Hotel Indigo Venice, Home to Local Glass Creations

In light of the current Biennale and upcoming Venice Hospitality Challenge, we go inside the award-winning, 4* boutique hotel Hotel Indigo to uncover exceptional products for interiors and strengthen our understanding of the islands’ world of glass creations. The reception, lobby and restaurant of the hotel act as a gallery with local arts and crafts such as hand-blown glass lighting fixtures and lanterns by Siru. The hotel also connects guests with local craftsmen in order to have hands-on experience working with glass. We visit jewelry maker Monica Caveletto in Murano to discuss her work.
