The simple present, simple past, and simple future are three basic verbs tenses in English that are used to express actions or states at different times.

1. Simple Present Tense:
Usage: Describes habitual actions, general truths, or states.
Structure:Affirmative: Subject + base form of the verb (for third person singular, add "s" or "es")
Example: "She walks to school every day."

Negative: Subject + do/does + not + base form of the verb.

Example: "They do not walk to school."

Interrogative: Do/Does + subject + base form of the verb?

Example: "Does she walk to school?"

2. Simple Past Tense:

Usage: Describes actions or states that happened at a specific time in the past.

Structure:

Affirmative: Subject + past form of the verb.

Example: "He visited the museum last week."

Negative: Subject + did + not + base form of the verb.

Example: "They did not visit the museum."

Interrogative: Did + subject + base form of the verb?

Example: "Did he visit the museum?"

3. Simple Future Tense:

Usage: Describes actions or states that will happen at a specific time in the future.

Structure:

Affirmative: Subject + will + base form of the verb.

Example: "She will travel to Japan next month."

Negative: Subject + will + not + base form of the verb.

Example: "They will not travel to Japan."

Interrogative: Will + subject + base form of the verb?

Example: "Will she travel to Japan?"
