The Endless Ambient Bass Solo

The world is suffering. If there's one sonic thing that can make people suffer even more, it's a bass solo. It's the part of the show where you want to slip out and use the restroom and have a smoke. This is nearly 90 minutes for epic bass bliss for those nutty enough to subject themselves to this form of mellow mayhem. Chances are, only bassists will endure the entire piece. Although there were precautions to avoid hiss and noise, there was an evil presence or something making it sound like shit; either that or not enough time given to testing, and some cheap, old analog equipment. To cope with this, automatic filters were over used including a lot of post production digital processing with the typical sound we pride ourselves drowning everything in excessive digital reverb.
