Raju (Sanjay Dutt) and Vijay (Rohan Kapoor) are orphans and stay with Amina (Shammi) since childhood. Raju loves Vijay like his own brother and arranges money for him to study in London. There, he meets Rai Sahab (Pran) who is forced to leave London to see his ailing daughter Renu (Farha Naaz). She loves Kailash (Sumeet Saigal), the son of a fugitive from jail. Knowing this Rai Sahab hatches a plan with Raju to change things for the better.
