⏺️ Patchouli Glow Rs.1800

➡️ Pros:
• No white cast
• SPF 40 PA+++ (decent sun protection)
• Reef safe
• Vegan & cruelty free
• Has chemical filters
• May work well for very dry skin types

➡️ Cons
• Very oily for combination, oily & even normal skin types
• Difficult to apply the appropriate sunscreen amount to get the SPF protection that’s mentioned on the packaging as going beyond 1-2 drops makes the skin oily. According to researchers, 1/2 tsp of sunscreen is needed for face and neck to get the appropriate amount of SPF rating mentioned on the sunscreen. Otherwise you’re not getting the protection your skin needs.
• Does not absorb into the skin
• There are SPF 50 PA++++ sunscreen options available for less than half the price in the Indian market, so doesn’t have anything that justifies the price point.

⏺️ Ashwagandha Bounce Rs.2700

➡️ Pros
• Light weight, quick absorbing
• High in antioxidants that prevent skin damage
• Has skin brightening ingredients
• Decent quantity and user friendly packaging
• Sits very well under makeup.

➡️ Cons
• Contains small quantity of fragrance which may potentially sensitise 4-5% of the skin types in long term i.e. after five, ten, twenty years.
• Fairly pricy.

Overall, if I had to pick one product, it would be the moisturiser. I wouldn’t recommend this for acne prone or sensitive skin though and I do hope that they come up with more fragrance and essential oil free products in the future
