A glimpse into what I practice daily. This video is intended for observational purposes for those who are interested and not necessarily instructional. I have been able to maintain a career as a jazz drummer due to years of search and discovery. What I practice nowadays is inspired by and an evolution of what I practiced in the past giving me more clarity in my own direction. I truly believe everyone has to find their own pathway and because of such we must be open to all the different resources that are available. What works for me may not work for you however allowing yourself to be open to various possibilities is very important. There will be always critics however I hope those who are interested in this video find inspiration for their own pathway of discovery as a drummer! Also as with my other video's one of my purposes is to really make it clear that e-drums can be an extremely productive tool even for the jazz aspiring drummer contrary to popular belief! I was also a hater for many years totally believing that it was not possible to use e-drums as a tool if you play jazz. I am grateful I know better now! Of course my preference will always be acoustic drums however for many of us around the world being able to practice acoustic drums at your place of residence is an almost unreachable luxury.
