HipHollywood was on hand to speak to the cast of "Sparkle" about Whitney's final farewell role, and it proved to be a big night for not only Whitney Houston fans, friends and family -- but especially her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who walked the red carpet in honor of her late mother.

What was sure to be an emotional night also served as a joyous one as Bobbi Kristina was all smiles while chatting with the cast. Something you may not know? Whitney was not only a major player in front of the cameras for "Sparkle," but behind the scenes as well, serving as one of the executive producers of the remake.

Critics and cast members alike, praised Houston's performance; but beyond that, the stars of the film were filled with emotion recalling their favorite moments with the late legendary singer.

The film is also the big screen debut for "American Idol" veteran Jordin Sparks and the casting director, Twinkie Byrd, told HH a surprising revelation about Sparks' acting skills.
