Today we are exploring the Cartier Pasha GMT Power Reserve. It has elements of the original Pasha created in 1933, which was one of the very first sporting references. Across the round of the case, this model measures 38mm. At only 10mm thick with a generously sloped conical bezel, it is easily worn with a dress cuff and worn well with formal attire. From lug to lug, it is a versatile 45mm. It is solidly evolved from the early days of Cartier dress watches.

The bracelet is beautifully tapered with substance. It features a contrasting pairing of satin finished H-section links with high polished intermediates. It is finished with a double deployment clasp. This piece is endowed with 100m water resistance.

With a unidirectional rotating bezel, you are able to accurately time with the chronograph function. The dial features a railroad style minutes track outboard. It has a medium silver dial that patinas over time. A second timezone can be set to a reference time or can be used as an AM/PM indicator.

A Girard-Perregaux caliber 480 is used in the watch and endows the watch with a 50 hour power reserve. With a short power reserve, you get the instant gratification of watching the power reserve scale move in real-time.
