Attracting a steady stream of new clients and booking work far into the future is the goal of any service business. Leads are the point of marketing, why you spend money on websites and advertising. The best way to generate new leads is to be out there, shaking hands, passing out business cards, networking with other local companies to get your name familiar with potential clients. This can be time consuming however, and with a growing business, its is already harder and harder to find the time. So today, let's talk about three different ways you can accumulate new, fresh leads for your business online.

1.) Get your business to rank high on Google's search results. This is not paying for ads with Adwords, we are talking about ranking organically on the top of Google for your specific service. This is called Search Engine Optimization or SEO. Learning about SEO and implementing these practices can be very lucrative for your business. 2.) Facebook marketing can be a great way to build up trust and a familiarity with potential new clients. Keep your pages updated and provide fresh ideas for people still thinking about a building project. It takes time, but if you or anyone within your organization can take the time to maintain your page, it will pay off.

3.) Get more reviews than anyone else. Reviews are the new word-of-mouth. Think about the last time you shopped online, reviews are the deal breaker. This is especially true with the construction business because people want to trust the people they are paying to alter their home or business.
