Palestinians flee Shejaiya in Gaza City after renewed Israeli bombardment

Palestinians fled the suburb of Shejaiya in Gaza City on Thursday after the Israeli army launched a new operation in the area. At least seven civilians were killed and dozens were injured during the operation according to the Civil Defence Agency .

Its spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, said that there are many dead people still on the roads and inside homes that the civil defence teams were unable to reach due to the intensity of the Israeli bombardment.
