If you’ve lost a loved one or are going through it right now, I'm so sorry, and I hope this video can help!

Here are a few things I learned after losing my mother-in-law (and best friend)...

1. Take Care of yourself
Sometimes we focus on being the rock/support for others that we neglect ourselves.
This can negatively impact your health so prioritize what your body and mind need to help you process and cope

2. Lean on your support system
You are NOT being a burden to other people, they WANT to help you – so let them. Outsource what you can – meals, grocery shopping or even babysitting!

3. Find a unique way to honor them
We told our daughter that Chrissie went to live on the moon and now every night she smiles and waves to her – so find ways to honor and incorporate them into your life.

4. Be open to the signs
Loved ones visit ALL THE TIME, so open you heart and you will start noticing them everywhere – and this will bring you a lot of peace

Lastly - 5. Give yourself Grace
be kind to yourself - You're going through trauma… so do your best and know you’ll come out of this a changed person, for the better!
