Catalyst pedals might just be the best solution to allow the user of minimalist footwear to enjoy cycling. As a keen road and mountain biker and having transitioned to minimalist footwear I have been struggling to find a footwear and pedal solution to accommodate my healthy foot with a wide toe spread.

Following a lot of research and a video call with the inventor of these I am convinced that these are a brilliant solution to that problem. Catalyst pedals combined with minimalist footwear such as Vivobarefoot is definitely a massive step, or pedal in the right direction.
