Описание к видео The Dyad Shawl - Mosaic Crochet Triangle Shawl (or Bandana Cowl) - 2 stitch repeat - use ANY yarn

This tutorial is done in the Overlay Mosaic Crochet Technique. In this tutorial I will teach you how to crochet this eye catching Dyad Shawl in Mosaic Crochet. This is absolutely the easiest Shawl to make and is perfect for anyone no matter your skill level.

This pattern is worked in a MULTIPLE of 2 + 4 however we are making a triangle shawl in this video. For those who want to work flat or in the round your multiple is 2, to work flat add 4 more chains to the end of your chain count.

ROW START TIMES PROVIDED BELOW.

TO REPEAT THE DESIGN FOR LARGER PROJECTS YOU WILL WORK ROW 3 as many times as needed to achieve your desired size.

Bandana Cowl: 21" at widest point before folding, 13" at center point. After folding and securing the 2 points together my Cowl is 11" wide at top edge.

🪄HOOK SIZE: I am using a 4mm size Nelsonwood hook in this tutorial,  you can find more info here:
https://www.nelsonwood.net/store/c1/S...

I recommend using the below hook sizes depending on yarn used:
3 DK yarn : 3.5mm to 4.5mm
Size 4 Medium/worsted weight: 4.5mm to 5.5mm.
Mixing 3 & 4 weight:  3.5mm to 4.5mm
SIZE 1 Lace Weight - 2.75mm to 3mm  hook used on slouchy hat

THE YARN: I'm using size 3 yarn, any brand will work as well as any size.
Color A: Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in Grey
Color B: Lion Brand Mandala SCRAPS FROM THE FOLLOWING COLORWAYS: Centaur, Pegasus, Spirit & Nifflers

Note on mixing yarn sizes 3 (DK) & Size 4 (Medium Worsted weight): THE TRICK TO MIXING YARN SIZES IS JUST KEEPING YOUR TENSION EVEN AND USING THE SMALLEST SIZE HOOK RECOMMENDED FOR THE SMALLER YARN!  You can use any yarn size you like and can use yarn that is all the same size, you do not have to mix yarn sizes.
