CARIBBEAN CRUISE ON NORWEGIAN SKY!

We cruised on the Norwegian Sky to the Caribbean in November 2023, and made port stops in:

Puerto Plata - Dominican Republic
San Juan - Puerto Rico
St. Johns - Antigua
Phillipsburg - St. Maarten
St. Thomas - Virgin Islands.

Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, we were unable to sail to the last port on the route which was the Grand Cayman Island in the Bahamas. From St. Thomas, the ship proceeded to return to Miami, Florida. We all spent one night in Miami before the day of disembarkation. Hopefully, we'll be able to visit Grand Cayman in the future.

We had fun on the two excursions we took. A "safari" in Puerto Plata where we visited a local village and saw how cassava bread and hot cocoa is made, sampled tropical fruits, and had a nice lunch with entertainment. We took a relaxing trolley ride and went through a local town in St. Maarten, shopped, and visited a cheese factory.

Overall, the Norwegian cruise, staff, food and entertainment, was wonderful. We met really nice, local people on the beautiful islands!
