As the cloudy sky blanketed the sunny day, my companions and I ventured through the realm of respite. Memories flooded my mind as I recalled a hazy image of myself traveling through this same sky with someone important to me when I was little.

Moved by this memory, I asked Beatrix to accompany me to a nearby hill. Once we reached the top, the wind picked up, and I was suddenly reminded of a song that had been sung to me long ago by someone dear to my heart.

I began to sing, my voice echoing through the hill, until I was overwhelmed by the melody and tears streamed down my face. Beatrix, who had been listening intently, suddenly took up a fighting stance and told me to step back. In the distance, two ogres were rapidly approaching, drawn to my singing.

Kuja, who had appeared out of nowhere, remarked that the ogres must have found my singing quite appealing. If we didn't stop them here, they would reach our companions below the hill. I told Beatrix that we had to defeat the ogres, and she charged forward while I supported her with my eidolon magic. Surprisingly, Kuja joined in, using his holy magic to help us.

During the battle, the ogres countered our attacks, but Beatrix's unwavering fortitude repelled their counterattacks. I focused on supporting my companions, and when the ogres let down their guard, Beatrix struck them with her Seiken sword skill, Shock, delivering the finishing blow.

After the battle, Kuja mentioned that he wouldn't mind if I continued singing the interrupted song from earlier. Beatrix scolded him for being rude, but I giggled and started to sing again. I don't remember where I learned this song, but it will always hold a special place in my heart.
