During lockdown all of the new gym equipment has been out of stock for months. If you’re looking to get your hands on plates and bars you’re looking at classified ads; buying people’s old rusty equipment that’s been left outside for years of neglect!

Not to worry... in this video I show you how easy it is to bring back to life!

Don’t be put off by surface rust, grab yourself a bargain and spend a few minutes making them shiny again. In this video I use a wire brush on a bench grinder but could easily be done by hand. The spray paint is matt black from the £1 shop.

They’re not perfect! But they don’t need to be.

Get rid of that surface rust and they’re good for years more abuse.
