I upgraded the pickup and pots in my electric mandolin. This video shows you what it sounded like before and after. The pickup was from almuse (http://www.almuse.co.uk/mandolin_pick...) and the pots were from RS Guitarworks (https://rs-guitarworks.myshopify.com/). The result of the upgrade was that the mandolin has an even tone across all four strings and a richer sound. I would highly recommend this upgrade to anyone who is dissatisfied with the sound of the stock pickups.
