Paid $314 for the upgrade and my buddy is buying my old one. This larger window AC operates on solar power and cools my living room area. It is "right sized" for the size of room. My old 8,000 cooling BTU unit I got last year was undersized and running constantly...thus, sucking too much power. So, upgraded to this unit.
