Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Bandai's 1995 versus fighting game for the Super Nintendo, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition.

Played through the story mode on the hard difficulty.

Alright, so the Power Rangers Street Fighter clone looks incredible - it could easily pass as an early PlayStation game if you threw in a couple FMVs at the beginning and end. It fun and it plays well enough, but it's extremely easy and there's not a lot to it - there are a couple of special moves and simple combos, but at least it is extremely kid-friendly (read: button mashing can easily get you through most of the game if you feel so inclined). It's a huge step up from the first MMPR on the Sega Genesis (it was also a fighting game), and if you are/were a fan of the show, it's well worth a try.

An interesting bit of trivia: Natsume's core engine developed for this game was later used again for Gundam Wing: Endless Duel
