ROBBED IN MALAYSIA - Langkawi Seaview Hotel Review

We got robbed in Malaysia while staying at the Langkawi Seaview Hotel. We never thought it would happen to us while traveling Malaysia and we are so upset. Help us bring awareness to the worst hotel in Malaysia by sharing this video! Here’s the full robbery story on what happened on Langkawi Island:

Our robbed in Malaysia story starts like this: we arrive in Langkawi Malaysia and check into our hotel. Instead of seeing what was pictured in the beautiful pictures, we are greeted with a insect infestation and mold. It was like being on a dirty hotel rooms episode. Staying in Kuah Langkawi, we sacrificed location on Langkawi island to get what the hotel said was great wifi, a beautiful new renovation, and a comfortable stay.

Instead of enjoying our time in Langkawi Malaysia, we ended up being tourists getting robbed in broad daylight. Our housekeeper went into our room and performed hotel robbery while we were downstairs eating breakfast. She stole $350 USD from Stacia’s wallet and rifled through all of Ryan’s belongings. We never expected there to be any theft in Malaysia because everyone we have encountered so far has been incredible friendly. Not only did we get robbed in Langkawi, but the hotel fought us to avoid refunding our stay when we insisted on cutting our stay short.

Unfortunately, we had to cut our visit to the islands in Malaysia short because of this devastating event at the Langkawi Seaview Hotel. This is definitely not one of our most fun travel stories in Malaysia, but we are happy to share it with you guys so you can avoid the same fate.
