Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is a multi-sensory indoor steel roller coaster at Universal Orlando Resort's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The ride takes place during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they try to break into Gringotts Bank to retrieve a Horcrux and defeat Lord Voldemort. The ride features a 2,000-foot track, motion-based vehicles, 3D projection screens, 360-degree sets, and 4K digital animation

The ride takes place from an alternative perspective, and the ride system includes stops at dark ride scenes with effects like accelerations and moving track parts. The ride also features live special effects, detailed sets, and a short projected film that provides backstory to the ride.
The ride opened to the public in 2014. Some say the ride is amazing, fast, and has a great story and show. Others describe the ride as a masterful blend of roller coaster and video screen. The ride feels different depending on which row you are seated in. The front row has the scariest view of the drop, 3-D effects look better further back, and the 6th row gets the most coaster action, but the screens are slightly distorted.
