Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve

On this new Vlog chapter, we visited a Rain Forest.
It's a natural reserve about 1 hour and 20 min from Brisbane.
It was peaceful and relaxing. The day we went, this rainforest was recently affected by floods, for this reason there were not as many animals roaming around. As well some areas were restricted due to restoration.
But despite this facts, we had an amazing experience. Just being connected to earth, listening to the sound of nature and the singing birds, sensing the smells of pure air made everything worthy, we definitely highly recommend this place.
Also at the entry of the rain forest there is a visitor centre that has The Dust until Dawn room that plays the sights and sounds of night forest creatures, it's a definitely an unforgettable experience.
You can also pack your picnic basket as there are numerous sheltered tables and chairs, with BBQ's, all of which is right next to the playground.
Extra Facts:
*There you can find flushing toilets.
*The playground is suitable for primary school- aged children and younger.
*The Cafe open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 am- 4:30 pm.
*Large field perfect for picnicking ,cricket, football or frisbee.
