We boarded the Disney Dream for a 14-night transatlantic crossing — starting in Southampton, England and sailing all the way to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On paper, it sounded amazing: stops in Vigo, Spain, Lisbon, Portugal, Ponta Delgada, Portugal, and even Disney’s brand-new private island — Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

But… could two weeks at sea really be that magical? Or would it start to feel like we were stuck on a floating hotel with Mickey Mouse?

There was definitely a LOT packed into this sailing:
Special entertainment and surprise guests
Dance classes
Drawing classes (some of us are not artists)
Themed dinners with special menus,
and more activities than we could count or attend
