How To Get a PERFECT Seal with Silicone RTV Gasket Maker

This video will teach you how to create a perfectly sealing gasket with silicone RTV gasket maker. This method doesn't require a special, unique gasket, as the gasket maker creates a seal on its own. In this video I used Permatex Ultra Black, since it has good oil resistant properties, to seal up a differential. I go over techniques for preparing your diff surface, applying the gasket maker, and properly torquing it down. This process will be extremely similar for oil pans, valve covers, and more!
