Well, guys… just look at that. Wales is absolutely blowing my mind. I didn’t show you the full route last night, but we started out near the Horseshoe Pass and ended up going all the way to Anglesey. Total freestyle ride. Just planned a few via points and let the road decide. And wow — it did not disappoint.
There’s something wild about cruising these narrow, winding country roads on the Verge TS Pro. It’s so quiet, sometimes it feels like I’m flying. Until a pothole or sheep reminds me to stay alert. I’ve been figuring out range as I go — started with 39% battery, ended up stretching it to 100 miles with one solid charge. I still don’t fully trust the range estimates, but that’s part of learning a new machine.
Some places won’t let you plug in because the wiring’s “too special” (true story), so I’ve had to improvise. But the road more than makes up for it. Forests, coastal cliffs, rolling hills, lighthouses… just endless beauty. Even found a little café at South Stack to grab food and upload a video (barely — UK Wi-Fi is a whole thing).
Everywhere I go, people stop me to ask about the bike. Most have never seen anything like it — and honestly, neither had I before I rode it across Europe. It gets attention, sure, but it also brings people into the journey.
Tonight I’m staying in a little Airbnb near Holyhead. I’ll edit a bit, maybe grab a pint at the pub, and plan the ferry to Ireland tomorrow.
