By the age of five Reggie Codrington learned how to read music and the fundament of musicianship. Reggie discovered that music could transcend him to a place of tranquility and offer a way to escape from the stress of life with his special physical needs. Reggie continued his study of music at Howard University where started to develop his own personal style and truly grow as a musician. Receiving accolades from educators, professorial musicians and friends also lit a fire in his soul to keep perfecting his special treasury and gift.
Reggie Codrington has opened and played with Jazz greats, Kim Waters, Ramsey Lewis, Kevin Tony, Maze and Frankie Beverly.
