How to photograph smoke - simple step by step tutorial using incense!

Smoke photography is a simple and relaxing shoot to try out at home. You can capture lots of amazing abstract shots and edit them in photoshop to have smoke on a white or black background with all kinds of colours!

In this smoke photography tutorial, we're using incense to create beautiful abstract images of smoke. We're using the new Adaptalux Flash Lighting Arms to freeze the motion of the smoke and capture the patterns it makes as it rises.
