Locating our accommodation aboard the M.V. Kavaratti Ship posed a challenge, attributable to the absence of clear signage and a somewhat disorganized cabin numbering system. Spanning an expansive size, our exploration of the vessel consumed considerable time. With its five-storey structure, the upper three levels cater to visitors, while the lower two accommodate regular travelers from the region.

Notably, departure is contingent upon the boarding of every passenger, emphasizing the ship's commitment to passenger safety and satisfaction. The ship boasts amenities including a mosque, hospital facilities, a canteen, information center, and recreational areas. Departure occurred around 5:30 p.m., following our check-in at 9:30 a.m. The rooms feature bunk beds, their allocation dependent on group size.

Complimentary provisions like toiletries, fruits, and bottled water for a five-day duration are provided. However, due to its government ownership, amenities may be limited. Yet, despite this, the ship maintains a standard of cleanliness and welcomes guests with amicable and attentive personnel, ensuring a comfortable voyage.
