Lighting Opportunities in Africa - Thione Niang AfricaCom Keynote Address

Africa's leading tech and telco event AfricaCom welcomed the inspiring Thione Niang as a keynote speaker in 2016.

Thione is the US Ambassador for Energy, appointed by Barrack Obama as well as the Founder of the Give1 Project and Co-Founder of Akon Lighting Africa.

In his address on day 1 of AfricaCom, Thione talks about prioritising energy in Africa, youth empowerment and how he was inspired to tackle the skills gap on the continent.
