Die Ballettschule des Hamburg Ballett bildet Jugendliche aus aller Welt für
den Bühnentanz aus. Schwerpunkt der Ausbildung ist der klassisch-akademische Tanz; darüber hinaus wird großer Wert auf eine gute Ausbildung in moderner Technik und Tanz-Komposition gelegt. Die Ballettschüler*innen wirken regelmäßig in Aufführungen des Hamburg Ballett mit.

The School of the Hamburg Ballet, established in 1978, trains young international students for a professional career in dance. The basis of the curriculum is the classical ballet technique. Modern dance, variations, repertoire, and dance composition are also essential parts of the syllabus. Advanced students take part in performances with the Hamburg Ballet.
