India’s only taxidermist Dr Santosh Gaikwad, is an professor of Anatomy from Goregaon’s Mumbai Veterinary College of the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University. ‘Taxidermy’ is presently being officially undertaken by Dr Santosh Gaikwad across India. But Dr Gaikwad being India’s sole Taxidermist fears that the skills of Taxidermy may end with him. This is why he is passionately teaching this art to young students.
