In this clip, Aries Spears briefly discussed his impersonation of LL Cool J before shifting to LL's status as an all-time great. He spoke about LL's battle rap past before expanding to battle rap in general. To Aries, there may be other ethnic groups that have adopted the art of battle rap but he stated that Black people own the copyright.

Aries Spears went on to compare battle rapping to stand up comedy and the need for comedians to be able to perform under all conditions. He spoke about hecklers being such an Achilles heel for comics but said he learned how to cut them down from greats like DL Hughley.
