Our Microwave quit on our very first trip out.. Regardless of what other people have said in the past, You need to be able to work on your own RV or expect to be highly inconvenienced having to wait on others to do it for you..
When we purchased our RV the "newness" factor had little bearing on our decision when it came to expected repairs... New, Old and whatever in between doesn't go without maintenance and repairs.. After our furnace had issues I new that would,t be the end of it and I am ever so vigilant when operating anything we own because a repair is always just around the corner...And in my case when there are no repairs, then it"s time for upgrades... I can always find something wrong or that could be improved...Big shout out to Ruff's RV in Painesville Ohio and Forest River and Rockwood warranty department...
