Slim 650S NextGen - PAR Meter Test at 48" (1.2m) - V3 Controller & Triple Dimmer

Slim 650S NextGen - PAR Meter Readings at 4 feet. We have had several recent requests for more PAR Meter test videos. Here we show you at 48" we get PAR Output of 525 umols to 650 umols with the dimmers at 100% power.

4 feet is the maximum distance you can hang your light over the canopy in flower.

There are 2 ways we recommend to start flowering with Slim 650S Nextgen.

Option #1 Set the light 48"(1.2m) above canopy. Crank the dimmers up in the 75%-100% range. 100% if you have co2 running. Then let the plants grow up into the higher intensity light over time. This method you keep the same hang height for all of flower.

Option #2 Set the light 24"-30" above canopy
Adjust Dimmers to 40-50% intensity. 50% if you have co2. You will have to raise your light 1 or 2 times in the first 3 weeks. Then once again around week6 which is when you crank up the dimmers to 70%-75%. plants don't get any closer than 12"-24". The last 3 weeks of flower your light runs at 100% and canopy as close as 12" with some branches as close as 6"-8".
