Kotilingeshwar Temple | Weekend trip from Bangalore | One day trip from Bangalore

Kotilingeshwara Temple lies in a very small village named Kammasandra in the Kolar district. This temple is extremely famous because of the largest and tallest linga present in Asia. It's almost 95 km from Bangalore. You can go here via your own vehicle or using pubic transport.

In this video, I'm going to tell you how you can reach Kotilingeshwar temple using public transport?

So I took a train from KR Puram(since it was nearer to my place) to banagarpet(14 km from Kotilingeshwar) and then a bus to the temple.

Here is the budget breakdown of the same-
I did this trip in Rs. 380 and here is how you can also do the same-
-Train (to & fro) Rs. 150 (use IRCTC to book)
-Bus (to & fro) Rs. 20
-Cab/ Auto(from you place to station and vice-versa) varies
-Food I had my breakfast before leaving and came back in the afternoon and yes I didn't see any food options there. You can get sugarcane juice there for Rs. 20.
