Dominique Pelicot's lawyer says no decision has yet been made on whether an appeal will be lodged against her client's 20-year prison sentence.

Beatrice Zavarro says she will not criticise any decision made by the courts.

Pelicot, 72, had confessed to all the charges and admitted he mixed sedatives into the food and drink of his wife, Gisele Pelicot, so he could sexually assault her.
