IN NO WAY AM I KNOCKING A COURSE or learning SKILLS or HABITS; this is a commentary on the trap of our societal “quick fix” “simple solution” mentality. Our expectations of growth might need to be modified to a more realistic one! We need to get away from our society's “quick fix” and “microwavable” expectations of health and growth! We need to have a more realistic understanding of what progress actually looks like especially if we’re recovering from significant complex trauma. We need to learn how to have support and kindness for ourselves because that is what it takes it requires for some of our arduous journeys!
