Easy And tasty Kofta Pulao recipe by Meraamskitchen

Ingredients:

- 1.5 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 0.5 cup oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, blended
- 1 green chili, blended
- Proven Spices:
- Black cardamom
- Few cloves
- Black pepper
- Cinnamon
- Small amount of cumin
- 2 green chilies, cut lengthwise
- 2 red chilies, cut lengthwise
- Kofta (meatballs), light fried
- Ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon
- 1.5 cups rice, washed, soaked, and drained

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a small cauldron over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onions and cook until light brown.
3. Add proven spices and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
5. Add remaining spices, including salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and black pepper powder. Cook for 1 minute.
6. Add blended tomato puree and cook until oil separates and tomato water dries up.
7. Add kofta (meatballs) and cook for 4-5 minutes.
8. Add water and bring to a boil.
9. Add rice and mix well.
10. Add green and red chilies, cover, and cook over medium flame until water is absorbed.
11. Sprinkle hot spice powder and steam cook for 7-8 minutes.
12. Dish out and serve hot!
