Fondant Birds Tutorial | Pigeon Tutorial | Chicken Tutorial | Duck Tutorial | Farm Animals

We made these birds on request for a client’s cake.

The theme was farm animals with a few favourite things.

I couldn’t weigh these as they were quite small. You’ll see them on the cake at the end of the video.

For the pigeon main colours I used light grey, dark grey, black.

For the chicken I mixed a medium orange with a little bit of brown. I’m guessing if you have sugarflair autumn leaf that might work too. For the darker shade just add a bit more brown.

The mallard’s main colour was brown from Wilton. For the neck I used a holly green from sugarflair.

Every colour added is mentioned on the video.

I’ll be adding the rest of the animals and other toppers in the next coming weeks.
