The population of Malaysian Trumpet Snail is thriving. They are one of the reason my tank bed stays clean. They also borrow down the sand and let the accumulated gases out. That's a huge help as that can mess up your PH in the tank and many other parameters. They don't harm anyone, help keep the water clean, so I don't mind them at all.
