Old Tea Heads in Chinese it’s called “Lao Cha Tou (老茶头).” It's a result from puerh – fermentation. It comes in the form of small lumps and is the result of agglomeration during the pile-fermentation processing of ripe Pu-erh tea. Compared with loose-leaf tea, Old Tea Head ripe puerh tea is richer in content and far more resistant to brewing.
