Zebra Sound Effect - Zebra Sound Noise- facts about the zebra
Zebras are animals that roam in large groups, true harems. They are herbivores, feeding mainly on grass,

zebras are black animals with white stripes with different patterns for each animal, like digital, these colors share the predators

zebras perform the greatest African migration. Tens of thousands of these animals walk around 500 km between dry and rainy seasons, searching for the place where they have the greatest food supply.

adult zebras weigh an average of 350 kilograms, their life expectancy is 18 to 25 years
Zebras are mammals that belong to the horse family, equines, native to central and southern Africa. The coat of this animal consists of a set of contrasting stripes of color, with its body all white and some black stripes, arranged vertically, except on the legs, where they are horizontal. They are generally social animals that live from small harem to large herds. Unlike their closest relatives, horses and donkeys, zebras have never been truly domesticated.

It is in the African savannas where zebras live. They are distributed by families: male, female and young. These animals, because they are usually attacked by lions, can become extremely fast animals, because to escape from predators, they use the flight and its strong kicks, and can even break the jaw of a feline. The stripes of the zebras get darker with age, and these animals, although they look alike, are not all the same.

There are three species of zebras: the lowland zebra, the grevy zebra and the mountain zebra. The plains zebra and the mountain zebra belong to the subgenus Hippotigris, but the grevy zebra is the only species in the subgenus Dolichohippus. The latter resembles a donkey, to which it is closely related, while the former two are more like horses. All three belong to the genus Equus, along with other living equines.

They are not on the verge of extinction, although the mountain zebra is threatened. The subspecies of plains zebra known as cuaga (from English quagga, which designates the sound that the animal produced cuahaa), Equus quagga quagga, was extinct, but crossbreeding projects between zebras with similar coloring have already recovered the previously extinct species, and the project has successfully released several specimens in the wild.

Zebras are herbivorous animals, and preferentially feed on pastures in the African savanna.
