Let us first preface with this is NOT a Harley Quinn costume haha! This is what I would personally make for her if I were to invite her to the Met Gala. Designers are invited to the Met gala and bring Guests that they dress, and so if this were the case, this is what I would dress her in! I wanted to embrace her rough around the edges details with some harnesses but make them satin, because I think it's a fun play and I love the lines with the finished skirt! I took inspiration from her Birds of Prey looks, and used the pink, because I think pink and a Hot red would play so beautifully together. In the new suicide squad, Harley wears a red frilly dress, which got me thinking about her skirt which I wanted to be an ultra glam version of the red netting dress she wore. All in all, it's femme, and it's over the top, but I genuinely love the way it turned out!
