Ishiro Honda- A Life in Film from Godzilla to Kurosawa by Steve Ryfle & Ed Godziszewski(Book Review)

This is my review of the book "Ishiro Honda- A Life in Film, from Godzilla to Kurosawa" by Steve Ryfle and Ed Godziszewski, which is a biography on Japanese filmmaker Ishiro Honda, who is best known as the director of the original Godzilla. The first half of this video is a review of the actual book, and in the second half I go over all the Ishiro Honda films I've actually seen.

Plot: The books recounts Ishiro Honda's life, from his service in Japanese Imperial Army during WWII, to his film career making science fiction films for Toho (e.i. Godzilla), and his lifelong friendship with acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
