Rikers Island faith-based initiative: Lil Baby and La La speak to young detainees

Pastor Tim Johnson, a former NFL player, created a program called Fatherless No More, which combines baptism, basketball, and belief in a higher power to guide young inmates to a productive future. He brought in actress La La Anthony and hip-hop star Lil Baby to speak to detainees at the RNDC jail on Rikers Island. It is considered one of the most dangerous jails at the complex because it houses 18- to 21-year-old men, many of whom arrive with built-in beefs with other detainees.
