A kinetic model for biomass gasification is embedded in Aspen Plus. Simulation is carried out with pine as input material. Temperature of the process is 800 ° C and pressure 1 bar. Arrhenius kinetics are considered. Properties are calculated by Peng-Robinson with Boston Mathias function.
