The first mistake Basketball coaches make is not communicating with the parents of the players on their team and explain their expectations. The next mistake coaches make is playing at a different level than what their team is at, this could be playing up or down a level. Lots of coaches dont meet with the player on their team to ask questions like how is everything going? and what the players can improve on. Another mistake is not giving the Assistant coach a job to do.
