Alfa Romeo 164 24v QV 3.2

This project is a restoration & upgrade on Alfa Romeo 164 24v QV. Due to wear & tear, the engine had to undergo a full procedure overhaul.

Since there is a 3.2 GTA donor engine, the owner made a decision to transfer the stroker kit 3.2 into the original block 3.0. The difference in stroke, 72.6mm vs 78mm. Increasing the stroke means increasing the torque.

Before being put into the block, the stroker kit 3.2 has gone through lightening & balancing process. The piston and connection rod have been lightened & balanced. Likewise the crankshaft has been brilliantly balanced.

Once everything is installed completely, it's time to fine tune the ECU. It uses Unichip X piggyback. The result is 261hp & 305nm.
