I love my american express platinum cards so much so that I opened 7 amex platinum cards in my household. I got the regular amex platinum, the amex business platinum, the mercedes benz amex platinum and the charles schwab amex platinum cards with some duplicates with my wife. That's a lot of platinum cards which can be expensive. That's why you have to have a strategy on which ones you want to get and why and which ones you're going to keep, close or downgrade.
