We wanted to record our very first time harvesting sweet potatoes that we planted in late April. This is our first year of vegetable gardening. We live in the Northwest panhandle of Florida. I made this raised bed out of pallets. The soil is a mix of native soil, additional sand, topsoil from Lowes or HD, whichever was cheaper, additives such as an all-purpose fert 5-5-5, bone meal, blood meal, perlite, and a wee bit of black cow.
